LATORTA CUSTOMERS ARE COVERED BY ACCC CONSUMER RIGHTS & GUARANTEES

Latorta and its customers are covered by the Australian Consumer Law in regards to consumer rights and guarantees.

Refund Policy:

Under Australian Consumer Law, Latorta will always repair, replace or refund a Faulty Product.

However, under Australian Consumer Law, you are not entitled to a refund if….

  • you got what you asked for, but simply changed your mind
  • found it cheaper somewhere else
  • decided you did not like the purchase
  • no longer had a use for it
  • you misuse the product in any way that caused the fault
  • knew of, or were made aware of, the fault before you bought the product

Claims for refund of a Faulty product must be made within 14 days of purchase.  Your original receipt or receipt number is required for proof of purchase.  Our Point Of Sale system cannot process a refund without this tax invoice/receipt number.

Gift Vouchers:

Check the expiry date of your gift card or voucher carefully.  Under Australian Consumer Law, businesses are not required to honour Gift Vouchers after the expiry date.

All Latorta Gift Vouchers have an expiry date which cannot be overridden by our point of sale system.  Our staff cannot use their discretion to honour an expired gift voucher even if they wanted to, as our POS system simply does not have that feature.

Should you wish to extend the expiry date of your gift voucher, you can purchase a new gift voucher with your current gift voucher.  This must be done prior to the original voucher expiry date.

Currently, our Gift Vouchers cannot be redeemed on our online store or on our Classes booking site, as they use different software.  Please contact the store directly to purchase goods or book a cake decorating class with your gift voucher.  Gift vouchers can be redeemed over the phone or by email.
