Observed on 25th April each year, ANZAC Day is our national day of remembrance that commemorates and honours all Australians and New Zealanders who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations.
ANZAC Day marks the anniversary of the first campaign that led to major casualties for forces of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps during the First World War. ANZAC Day remains one of the most important national occasions of both Australia and New Zealand.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
