These gorgeous flowers are hand made from Sola Wood. The naturally soft, super lightweight wood is able to be sliced and fashioned into realistic flower shapes. Occasionally a petal may feature a small knot or hole found naturally in the tree’s grain. No two flowers are exactly alike. They make a wonderful substitute to dried/preserved flowers and are ideal for cake decorating. The pale timber petals can be easily coloured using petal dusts, lustre dusts or airbrushing.
