



Marzipan (also known as Almond Paste) is a sweet mixture of ground nuts and sugar. Adds great almond flavour to cakes, cookies and breads. Layer between fruit cakes and fondant to create that traditional Christmas and Wedding cake flavours.
Ingredients: almonds 40%, sugar (beet sugar), glucose syrup (derived from wheat), stabiliser E422, E420(i)
Detectable gluten = Nil. Suitable for vegans.

Be inspired to create chocolate covered marzipan and or model into small marzipan imitations of fruits or figures of animals as a traditional treat for Christmas. It can also be used in biscuits or rolled into thin sheets and glazed for icing cakes. Marzipan may also be used as a baking ingredient in stollen and other European favourites.
