Create stunning sugar sculptures, pulled sugar work, edible gems, jewels and geodes, windows, snowflakes and moulded decorations with these easy to use isomalt crystals from Over The Top.

Simply heat in the microwave or over the stove, until molten and liquid.  Brilliant clear results, or add a drop or two of gel food colour for fabulous transparent colours.  

Once cooked and in liquid state, simply pour into your moulds, or over a silicone mat to create shapes and pulled sugar work.  Leftovers can be stored and remelted for future use.

Isomalt is a sugar substitute made from the sugar-beet plant, used primarily for creating sugar decorations for cakes, cupcakes and sugar sculptures.  Isomalt crystals have a high resistance to humidity and will not crystallise like cane sugar. 

With 50% less calories than regular sugar this product can also be used as a sugar substitute in baking.   It has little to no impact on blood sugar levels, and does not stimulate the release of insulin. It also does not promote tooth decay and is considered to be tooth-friendly.
