This vanilla buttercream from Bakels is a great alternative to making buttercream from scratch. It has a smooth consistency (ie no grainy sugar bits) that pipes beautifully and is deal for filling and icing cakes, and piping on cupcakes.
Use straight from the tub, or whip in your electric mixer to increase its volume and extend its coverage.
With its off-white colour tone, it takes colouring well - we recommend gel pastes or an oil-based food colour.
Made with real butter, the sweet vanilla taste is just lovely, or change it up with one of our LorAnn Flavour Oils.
The 2kg tub will cover up to 60 cupcakes or fill and cover 2 x 6" cakes.
