Bakels Chocolate Ganache is a ready made smooth ganache, with a rich chocolate flavour and colour. At Latorta, we think it's the perfect ganache to match with a chocolate mud cake.
Ideal for filling, masking (covering), pouring, piping and more. Use it in cakes, truffles, tarts and more. It can be used directly from the bag or you can whip it to create a flufflier ganache.
For a shiny glaze, heat the ganache in a microwave and pour over your cake and allow to set with a glassy finish.
For a cake filling and covering, gently warm the ganache in a microwave until is is just soft (approx vegemite consistency),, Spread a 5-10mm layer over each layer of cake and around the sides and top. using a spatula or palette knife. Allow to set (will set firmer in the fridge) and continue to decorate your cake,.
As a guide 1kg of ganache will fill and cover an 8 inch round cake.
